- MATLAB/Simulink
- a great mathematical tool. Simulink adds simulation
capabilities for linear and nonlinear systems packed
into a nice GUI. Toolboxes for virtually every discipline
are available.

- Racer
- Racer is a free car simulation project, using
real car physics to get a realistic feeling. It uses
OpenGL for rendering. Cars, tracks, scenes and such
can be created and modified relatively simple (compared
to other driving simulations). Editors and support
programs are also available to get a very flexible
and expandable simulator.

- IDEAS,
Pro/Engineer, AutoCAD… etc. - FEM and engineering software.
We don't use these programs ourselves, but frequently need
to interface between them and one of the simulation packages
